Brett Ratner Doing Guitar Hero Movie?

Say what? According to Game-Reviews.ca, Brett Ratner is interested in directing a movie based on the ultra-hit video game Guitar Hero.
Ok, What could they possibly do with it?!
The scoop is that it’s about a kid from a small town who wins a huge Guitar Hero competition. But is this enough to make a 90-minute feature film? I’m skeptical.
