Become a Wing Man for "Artemis Eternal"

April 24, 2008 by Jane Boursaw

Fed up with the Hollywood mill, filmmaker Jessica Stover decided to buck the system and create a new trend. With her new sci-fi film, Artemis Eternal, she aims to change how films are distributed and exhibited. To do that, she’s asking everyone to throw $1 into the kitty to help make the film. I just threw in $5, so… you’re next.

“We are in the process of creating a studio-caliber film independently,” she writes. “Community funded; professionally lead: No middle-man. All the deals are done, the film is completely packaged and deposits are down. We’re ready to pull the trigger, so if you’re the owner of $1, and if you’ve ever seen a movie, then this is a project for you.”

Stover has raised $40K so far, and she’s headed towards $100K. “Artemis Eternal” will be screened at film festivals and other traveling screenings. Check out the official site, and paypal your $1 to Jessica@JessicaStover.com!
