I agree that casting older actors is a little on the odd side but then Scott may be having the idea that he wants Crowe to portray a slightly more mature and rough hewn Loxley! A huge fan of Crowe in Gladiator i don't know if he is the right choice for this character. After all although Robin Hood is a legend and it is a legend that oozes Englishness and i'm a little dissapointed that Hollywood has again failed to choose a British actor to portray a British hero. We will see how this one works out. Im a huge fan of the Robin Hood legend and at the moment, until i know more about this project im really not holding my breath!
