Anna Faris – Rising Star

Anna Faris was the best thing about “The House Bunny,” and now she’s getting some recognition. Faris is being honored with the Rising Star Tribute from the Bahamas International Film Festival, Dec. 4 – 11 in Nassau, Bahamas. Hmmm, I’m thinking that would be a great one to attend at that time of year!

“Anna Faris represents everything that is good about Hollywood’s present and future. Through the diverse roles she has taken on early in her career, she has displayed tremendous creativity and a marvelous gift for acting,” says Leslie Vanderpool, founder and exec director of the BIFF.

Next up for Faris: Starring opposite Seth Rogen in Warner Bros.’ “Observe and Report” (that should be fun!) and opposite Bill Hader in the Sony animated film “Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs” (we love that book in this household!).
