"Angels & Demons" - New Pics!

Sony has released the first images for “Angels & Demons,” and they look fantastic. The sequel to 2006’s “The Da Vinci Code” stars Tom Hanks as Robert Langdon (without the weird ‘do he sported in the first movie) and Ewan McGregor as Carlo Ventresca.

I thought “The Da Vinci Code” was a bit long and drifty in the middle, but I still really liked it. Most movie critics panned it big-time, but I thought the film had a lot to offer, not the least of which was Tom Hanks in the lead role and a great story by Dan Brown. I expect to like “Angels & Demons,” as well.

Directed by Ron Howard, the movie also stars Ayelet Zurer, Stellan Skarsgard, and David Pasquesi. It’s scheduled for a May 15, 2009 release. Check out the pics:
