Adam Sandler Gets Scary
June 6, 2008 by Jane Boursaw
Adam Sandler’s production company Happy Madison is taking a dark turn and producing a thriller titled “Shortcut.” It’s the inaugural film under the company’s new label, Scary Madison. Hmmm…wonder what’s next? Dramatic Madison? Sad Madison?
Anyway, the movie centers on two brothers who come upon a rarely used shortcut in their new town — and soon discover the reasons why it’s so rarely used. Sounds intriguing. And scary.
Andrew Seeley, Shannon Woodward and Dave Franco will star, with Ingo Volkhammer, Sandler, Brian Witten, and Scott Einbinder producing. Sandler has 12 — count ‘em, 12 — movies in the works! Get while the gettins’ good, I guess.

Some of Adam Sandler’s ‘comedies’ have already been scary enough for me.
J-Michael – Ha! I so agree. Stand by for my review of “You Don’t Mess With the Zohan,” one of THE worst movies ever made.
My review of Zohan:

Adam Sandler is classic, though he tends to do his best work when he isn’t trying too hard to be funny
